SO, WHERE MIGHT I USE ‘LIVING CORAL’ IN MY HOME?
Well, if you’re really daring, you could splash it across a feature wall, brightening up a lounge or living area, but if you’re not keen on updating a feature wall annually when Pantone release their next winning colour, consider an artistic print or painting which incorporates the lively hue.
Splash your living area with pops of colour with coral-inspired pillows, throw blankets or floor rugs, or bring life to your bathroom with soaps, candles or towels mimicking the vivacious pinky-orange shade.
In the kitchen, we might see jugs, tea-towels, serving bowls or brightly coloured utensils (think kettles, toasters, mix-masters, etc.,) get a funky makeover thanks to Pantone’s 2019 choice.
Outdoors, you might see it in the pillows you choose to adorn your outdoor setting, or in the tones of florals you plant in the garden.
One thing to remember however, when incorporating an audacious colour such as Living Coral, less really is more! You’ll spot this dynamic tone even if you only use it minimally, so don’t feel like to be “on trend” you need to paint your entire home coral-coloured, (unless you want to, then go right ahead!)
