PAH Construction were recently thrilled to be awarded winner of three categories at the Master Builders Association (MBA) Excellence in Regional Building Awards.
Winner – Best Contract Home $500,000-$750,000 – Campaspe Close, Springvale
This amazing space of land needed a house designed to do it justice and the builder worked closely with the clients to design a floorplan that takes advantage of the northerly sun and surrounding views the block has to offer.
The cement rendered residence incorporates a wrap-around veranda with locally manufactured and custom designed feature columns and trims and comprises of a large outdoor kitchen with Caesar stone tops and wood fire.
Custom made skirting and architraves feature throughout and compliment the 2700 high ceilings and overheight internal doors. All cabinetry features caesarstone tops and storage is abundant with each room encompassing it’s own WIR. The large family room features coffered ceilings and built in display/TV unit. The butlers pantry comes complete with servery to the alfresco.
Attention to detail is evident throughout the entire residence and the end result is a residence both the home owners and builder are very proud of.
Winner – Best Sustainable Energy Project up to $500,000 & Best Contract Home $250,001-$350,000 – St Pauls Place, Estella Rise
The brief for this residence was a modern industrial theme with a focus on energy efficiency so we worked closely with the client to design a floorplan incorporating polished concrete flooring, feature brick internal walls and a saw tooth roof to the ceiling of the family room. The kitchen is located in the centre of the home and features both stone and stainless steel benchtops and a feature brick splashback. Full height tiles feature in both the bathrooms. This home also rates an incredible 8 star energy rating through the use of thermaline double glazed windows, waffle pod slab, anticon blanket, R7.0 batts, 15mm foilboard, solar panels and rainwater tank. The uniqueness of this residence was refreshing to work on and the end result is very pleasing.
